Monday August 22 - set up computers for APSCN workshop and then continued to work on ECP computers and iPad issues.
Tuesday August 23 - Caught up the journal for the month so far. Worked with Shelby on the ECP computers for Alma, Clarksville and Branch
Wednesday August 24 - went to Greenwood to set up ECP computers/scanner/printers. about noon left for lunch and came back and finished up. Then drove to Fort Smith to help Jan Carr get her ECP computer attached to her home network since she works mostly from home. Then drove to Alma to set up Laura C computer since she is also based in Alma not just Greenwood. Worked very late trying to get the laptop to accept scans from the printer/scanner. the interface for that MFP is not very good and the user/pwd has to be entered on a number pad (old school texting style)
Thursday August 25 - CIV for Supt and then Supt meeting
Friday August 26 - Run CIV system for two programs
Monday August 29 - Caught up email and scheduled e-rate workshops and tried to work on scheduling tech workshop but was called for emergency CIV equipment check for PV. Decided to put my time to good use since I would be close to Alma and would be close to Clarksville in the afternoon due to Westside school visit and packed up the ECP computers to try to deliver. Checked out PV CIV and conversed with the principal and tech coordinator then headed to Alma and configured the ECP computers to the printer. stopped to eat lunch and then to westside to set up and configure the replacement CIV equipment and to bring ours back home. Harvie assisted. Westside didn't get done until after 3:00 so I was unable to make it with the laptops to Clarksville.

August so far
This has been a very busy month and I haven't taken the needed time to keep the journal up-to-date.
August 1 - 5 was spent providing support for workshops, trying to clean clutter out of the network closets and sort through old equipment for discardability. I also had a CIV over AYP that I managed the CIV system for. I also had to take off a few afternoons for MIL health issues
August 8 - 12 was also spent providing support and setting up computers for various workshops at the coop. I also did some troubleshooting and set up for CIV labs at schools including Mansfield, Westside, and Mountainburg. Hartford and Hackett also. Harvie and I did a test call to all the systems and made sure they were ready for school for the next week. I began setting up ECP computers on Wednesday trying to get them ready ASAP. Thursday I set up for some workshops and worked on ECP laptops and ran the Child Nutrition CIV. Friday I presented IDEAS and iTunes U at the Paris multi-district conference. I also had to take off a few afternoons due to MIL health issues.
August 15 - 19 was spend working mostly on the ECP laptops (there are 20 new laptops that we are trying to get out into the staff hands) Thursday I went to Little Rock for a tech meeting with DIS. Friday I took leave to go visit the doctor and to try and sort through MIL financial situation.

July 25, 26, 27, 28,
Monday - arrived at the coop and picked up CIV equipment to run tests at a couple of schools. Harvie and I went to Mansfield and hooked up their system that had not been used in a few years and made sure it was working. We then went to Mountainburg and talked to their tech guy and he said that the system was working he thought but when we went to check it, it was doing the same thing it had done when i was there the week before. So we connected our spare system hooked up and tested all the connections and everything seemed to be in working order before we left.
Tuesday - Arrived early to set up computers at County Line school for ELF workshop. after getting the computers delivered and placed on tables, Harvie and I did dial in tests for all the other CIV systems that would be used for classes during the school year. We contacted the Principals, Supt and Tech at each district that system did not work and some of them got right back to us and we did a second check. we will continue to verify systems and work with facilitators and principals to make sure that the beginning of the year goes off without a hitch. Also assisted Eric P with some computer set ups and discussed his BEE situation since it wasn't much better than ours.
Wednesday - Arrived early to make sure that all the computers would work for the ELF workshop. Harvie and I went to Hackett after lunch and hooked up their system and verified that it was now working. I stayed after Harvie went back to the coop to consult with the supt on ideas to provide filtering and spam catching for his district
Thursday - Worked with Shelby on computer issues after making sure that all workshops were running successfully. Also made some changes to the web pages requested by Pat. Also gathered up the computers from County Line and again consulted with Eric P about technology issues and possible workshops. Also prepared lab for workshop that was requested at the last minute by presenters in another building.
Friday - Took Leave but worked from home on web page issues for Pat dealing with TIA and TA and CCSS information. Will have to discuss this more on Tuesday when she returns to work.
